Open all year, Linwater Caravan Park is a peaceful, family run Park offering pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents as well as glamping and self catering. Situated on open farmland just west of Edinburgh, its location allows you to access all the delights of Scotland's capital city whilst staying in a rural farm location.
Campers can choose from spacious hard-standings, or grass pitches with 16 Amp electrics and space to park a car beside you.
For those that don't want to bring their own roof, there are options to suit all budgets, including glamping pods, static caravans or luxurious lodges.
Our Scandinavian style amenity building offers excellent facilities including free showers with privacy cubicles and laundry.
For the 2019 season we have also installed a fabulous indoor camping kitchen complete with dish washing area, hobs, seating and a TV so you can meet fellow campers and prepare meals without worrying about messing up your own space!
Our reception has plenty of tourist information to help you plan your stay. We have a small shop selling convenience goods so you don't have to travel far if you need a quick meal.
Children are welcome and we have a fabulous play park for them to while away the hours. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs per pitch are welcome and there is a dog walking area on site. (although we do ask that you do not leave pets in accommodation (including your own) unattended.

Nearby Attractions
Edinburgh is easily reached by 2 Park and Rides a short drive away. both offer free and safe parking and Ingliston has no height restrictions so Motorhomes can be parked there whilst you visit Edinburgh.
The Fringe Festival and Tattoo in August are well worth a visit - but you should book in advance for August as we tend to fill up. The Royal Highland Showground, Edinburgh Airport and the International Climbing Arena at Ratho are all within a 10 minute drive. You have Livingston for shopping, Linlithgow for history, the Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies and Rosslyn Chapel all within easy reach. Stop on your way north or south, or stay awhile - you will be most welcome.
