Red Deer Village Holiday Park is a 5 star holiday park, conveniently situated on the doorstep of Glasgow, just off the A80, one of Scotlands main arterial routes to the North. The Park is close to a number of public transport links, with regular buses and trains into Glasgow city centre.
Sample the excitement of Glasgow, the grandeur of Edinburghs castle, the history of Stirling and the natural beauty of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs during a stay at Red Deer Village Holiday Park. Our five star Glasgow camping and caravan park boasts immaculate self-catering accommodation and spacious touring and camping pitches.
TOURING AND CAMPING
The level and spacious caravan and campsite is the ideal base for a holiday in and around West Central Scotland, or as a stopover for a few days whilst touring. There are 24 hardstanding pitches with electric hookup suitable for touring caravans and motorhomes. Our grass area has a number of spacious tent pitches, which are well served by immaculate facilities.
Red Deer Village Holiday Parks touring caravan and camping areas are of the highest standard. For caravans and motorhomes we offer hardstand or grass areas, both fully equipped with electric hook-up. Facilities on-site are modern, clean and well maintained. Two sets of well equipped toilets and shower blocks feature showers, constant hot water, hairdryer and shaver points. Drinking water taps are situated around the Park for convenience.
The launderette has all washing and drying facilities, plus iron and ironing board. Additionally, there are chemical toilet disposal points, disabled toilets, family room with baby changing facilities, dishwashing sinks and a payphone.
For those who wish to cater for themselves, there is a well-stocked shop within 5 minutes walking distance, with a local supermarket just 10 minutes away and a 24 hour ASDA and Morrisons approx 2.5 miles away. Calor and camping gas can be purchased on site. Should you prefer, there is a wide selection of hotels and restaurants, including Italian, Chinese and Indian, all within a 2 mile radius of the Park.
SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION
We also have a wide selection of self-catering accommodation available, including chalets, static caravans and caravan holiday homes. Our accommodation has recently been refurbished to a high standard, making it the number once choice for families, friends or contractors looking for somewhere to stay near Glasgow.
Walk into a fully furnished luxury holiday home and straight away you will get the impression of comfort and quality, feel relaxed and ready to enjoy your stay with us. Fully equipped with everything you need, including flat screen digital tv with dvd, bedding, crockery, cutlery etc. Full gas central heating, double glazing to ensure that you can enjoy a stay with us no matter the time of year or weather. Available to sleep 1-8 people comfortably.
Chalets are an excellent alternative to our holiday homes, also fully equipped and including TVs in lounge and all bedrooms (in selected units), bedding, crockery, cutlery etc and with gas central heating and double glazing. Available to sleep 1-6 people comfortably.
Also available are static caravans, these are ideal if you are working in the Glasgow area, whether it be short or long term. Also fully equipped with all you need. Available to sleep 1-4 people.
All of our units are supplied with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide monitor, fire blanket and fire extinguisher which are all inspected on a monthly basis to ensure your safety.
Chalets and toilet facilities available for our disabled dependent guests - Ramped access to laundry, chalets and family room.

Nearby Attractions
Stepps is situated around five miles to the North-East of Glasgow and only 48 miles from the stunning, historic capital city of Edinburgh. It is also only 21 miles from Stirling with its castle and stunning Wallace monument. All 3 cities offer culture, historic monuments, theatres, and art galleries in abundance. Stepps also acts as a natural gateway to the North allowing easy driving access towards Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Scotlands various national parks and mountain ranges.
The village of Stepps is twinned with Les Marches in the Savoie region of France and even has its own Stepps community website. It has two churches, Stepps Parish and St Josephs, a pharmacy, dental care centre, a doctors surgery, local shops, hairdressers and beauty parlour, restaurants, local bars and a Bannatynes gym. Train and bus links makes Stepps an easy commuter base for travelling.

Coming from South & West M74 Hamilton, to M73 on to M8 (Glasgow North). Exit M8 at Junction 11, and follow signs for Stepps (A80 Cumbernauld and Stirling). After 1/2 mile turn right into Loch Road. Carry straight through housing estate to small roundabout, the park is straight in front of you. Part of the Red Deer Village Development, enter through security gate, if closed press intercom & follow instructions, to camping area. (Holiday Park is sign posted from Junction 11).
Coming from the North M80 follow signs for Glasgow, exit Junction 3, and follow signs for Stepps to Crowwood roundabout, take 3rd exit on to A80, follow for about 1 mile through Stepps, turn left into Loch Road. Thereafter follow instruction as above. (Holiday Park is sign posted from Junction 3).
Travelling via train from Glasgow city centre, make your way to Glasgow Queen Street, and travel to Stepps Station, a 10 minute walk from the park. The park is also accessible by bus.
