The Halladale Inn & North Coast Touring Park comprises of 16 Motorhome/Caravan Pitches all hardstanding with electric hook-up and 8 tent pitches. We also have 6 glamping Pods which have electric, TV, Kettle, Cutlery and Crockery and heating. They sleep between 2 and 7 adults. The beds have memory foams mattresses but you will need your own bedding.

The site also has a Licensed Cafe/Bistro/Shop and a self service laundry. A varied menu is supplied from Bacon Rolls in the mornings to Haggis in the evening. Please see our website for the current menus.

Situated in the small coastal village of Melvich which is 17 miles west of Thurso on the A836 North Coast Road. Driving time is approximately two and a half hours from the city of Inverness. Local rail stations are at Thurso (16 miles along A836) and Forsinard (15 miles along A897).

Melvich is perfect for the quiet "get away holiday". The sandy beach is just a ten minute walk away, and is a favourite venue for surfing. Situated in the village is the local shop and post office. If you are a keen fisherman then try the local lochs (permits can be arranged). The area is an ideal base for touring the North Coast of Scotland and is right on the NC500 Route. Orkney is just a short ferry ride away.

For the golfer there is Reay Golf Course which is five miles away. Apparently this course is "interesting"! Birdwatchers can visit the Forsinard RSPB Bird Sanctuary.
