Ord House Country Park is a 5 star rated park set in 40 beautifully landscaped acres. With a choice of holiday home ownership, residential park homes, seasonal and casual touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes. We have something for everyone.
We have some great choices when it comes to places to - if you are bringing your touring caravan, motorhome, campervan or trailer tent we have the perfect location for you.
We have a range of large pitches available, all hardstanding and you`ll have the choice of an electric hook up or fully serviced pitch.
We are rated 5 pennants by the AA, have scooped a place on the Top 100 campsites list and even achieved platinum rating in the Loo of the Year awards. With our on site Bar & Grill we have everything you need for your touring break.
The 18th century Manor House with its sumptuous adults only bar and our newly developed family restaurant provide a place to relax and enjoy a reasonably priced quality meal with a fine selection of beers, wines and spirits.
There is an adventure playground, crazy golf and a football pitch for ball games. There is also a soft play area for toddlers. We also have a beautiful dog walk that runs around the perimeter of the park.
Our award winning toilet and shower blocks really do need to be seen to be believed. Our laundry facilities and accessible shower and toilet block, all combine to make your stay at Ord House as comfortable as possible.
There are several large supermarkets in town the nearest being just a few minutes away.
Berwick Upon Tweed itself is a historic market town situated on the English-Scottish border. Berwick is a place full of unexpected sights and un-explored places. Adventuring down alleyways, stumbling upon hidden courtyards, climbing up a sand dune, peering at medieval remains - theres always a view you havent seen or a story you havent heard.
This town has all the simple ingredients for the perfect break away. Fresh air, sea and countryside, friendly folk, and rich history.
From dolphin spotting, to walking trails, and beautiful beaches to enjoying one of the many restaurants or trendy wine bars, you`ll be spoilt for choice for things to do when you choose to stay at Ord House in Berwick Upon Tweed
Nearby Attractions
The River Tweed runs through the towns centre, dominated by three iconic bridges. Climb on-board The Border Rose with Berwick Boat Trips, where you can sail beneath the magnificent Royal Border Bridge and into the mouth of the river for some seal and dolphin spotting.
The nearby Farne Islands are a must-visit while you are in this area of Northumberland, home to a wealth of exciting wildlife including a large colony of grey seals and puffins.
Roam the river banks for spectacular views and cosy cafes to escape to if the weather takes a turn. Take advantage of the towns location along the coast and wander along barely-trodden Berwick beach, enjoy a hole in one at the golf club or take the children rock pooling at Cocklawburn beach which has miles of golden sands to explore.
If you`ve still got energy left then head into town to taste exquisite seafood in one of Berwicks eateries, as there are an array of restaurants and pubs lining the cobbled streets of Berwick town centre.
