Westerly Lake Fishing and Caravan Park is a peaceful adults only touring caravan park on the banks of a 1.5 acre coarse fishing lake surrounded by landscaped parkland.
Situated on the edge of the village of Wheldrake, the caravan park is just a ten minute walk to the centre of the village with it's supermarket, post office, and village pub.
The historic City of York is just 7 miles away, the Designer Outlet and Park and Ride are within 2 miles.
The caravan park is very quiet and a haven for wildlife, just the place to relax and unwind
It is also an ideal base for exploring the North York Moors, and the east coast seaside resorts, the Yorkshire Dales are approximately an hour away.
The majority of our caravan pitches have electric hook-ups and generously spaced hard standings. The caravan awnings are on grass, and so only breathable groundsheets are allowed.
There is a centrally heated toilet and shower block with free hot showers, and there is also a washing up area, WiFi is available through Caravan Connect.
Due to persistent fouling we have had to make the decision not to allow any new dogs on site that have not already stayed with us (maximum of 2) . Open 1st March to 30th November.

All our pitches are 6m from the adjacent units.
Our pitches are hard standing with grass for the awning area.

Heated washrooms with free hot showers.
Seperate washing up room which also has tourist information and a book swap facility.
Nearby Attractions
The village of Wheldrake has a well stocked supermarket, and an excellent pub that does superb food.
Wheldrake is close to the river Derwent and the Ings Nature Reserve, and there are woodland walks just a short drive from the caravan park.
The Yorkshire Air Museum is just 3 miles away.
The Designer Outlet is a ten minute drive away, from where there is a Park and Ride service with buses every ten minutes to the centre of York.
Also a bus service operates from the village to the centre of York.
From the A64 York outer ring road, take the A19 towards Selby. Turn left at Crockey Hill towards Wheldrake. Upon approaching Wheldrake look for the village name, we are the next gateway on your left which is a shared entrance with the former Springwell Garden Centre, bare right onto the track leading to the caravan park.
