Eco-campsite based on working ecological farm, if you like wildlife, birdwatching and natural things,you should enjoy a stay a Karma Farm.
Our small camping site, provides parking and eco-friendly service facilities for up to five caravans and an adjoining sheltered meadow for up to ten tents.
Here you can also stay in one of our two Yurts, the traditional homes built by the nomadic Mongolian tribes. Or choose our self-contained cabin which has a cooker, fridge and shower. Perfect for those who want to get back to nature but with a bit more comfort!
All are situated in a peaceful three acre area of the farm that includes the Barn and Pond field. So why not plan to spend a wonderful, eco-friendly, family holiday in the Cambridgeshire fenland countryside.
We have a large (undercover and free) games area in the farm barn
Facilities include 2 toilets, 2 hot showers, 1 solar shower and 1 propane-powered shower pod, plus a portacabin with extra toilets and washbasins
We are more a Tent or Camper van campsite, for real campers.
Some Caravan owners expect our site to be just like most other campsites, manicured and strimmed to an inch or less everywhere, and all in straight lines, we are NOT this type of Campsite, as can be seen on our website, and in reviews. Nettles are fantastic if you are a ladybird, and wildlife in general.
There are two bird hides, free use of binoculars, to observe this wildlife all around us.
Also, Wicken and Lakenheath Fens are both only 8 miles from here. Many bird watchers think Isleham Fen is as good, and it is right here.
The village of Isleham with it's Shops, Post-Office and Country Inns, is only about a mile away, where a children's playground, bowls club, cricket ground and all weather surface for tennis all add to the fun and facilities available.
Nearby Attractions
Karma Farm is only 17 miles from Cambridge, and half that distance to Ely or Newmarket, Isleham village is less than a mile.
We have bikes to hire so you can explore the area, but some of the best attractions are right here, so bring binoculars, fishing rod or walking boots.
The 11th century Priory and St Andrews Church are both local buildings of great historic interest and well worth a visit during your holiday. The cathedral city of Ely and the world famous horse racing town of Newmarket, are both only about 9 miles distant.

Owner Directions
Ely or Newmarket are nearest train stations, Ely easier to get transport to and from.When you get to Isleham village go towards the Marina on the road called Waterside just off Sun Street road.Don't go over the river bank to the Marina, stay on the single track road all the way along side the river bank, it's called Fen Bank, Karma Farm is at the end of that road.
