Budle Bay Campsite is a rural/coastal campsite accommodating touring caravans, motor homes, campervans, trailer tents and tents on grass and hard standing pitches. It also has two larger bunkhouses, 12 cabins and a large children`s play area.
We are mostly a grass site though we also have 35+ hard standing plus grass re-enforced pitches, allowing us to welcome guests all year round. One of the hard standings is over 10m long so we can take long units.
We have a stream running alongside the campsite and guests can choice a riverside pitch (subject to availability). All but a few pitches have electric hook ups. The average pitch size on site is 8m wide and 8m long though we have a few smaller pitches for small tents and larger pitches for the bigger units.
As well as camping and caravans, we also offer a variety of huts, cabins and bunkhouses, suitable for all different group sizes.
Our huts are perfect for couples, families and smaller groups up to eight, and come furnished with beds, storage space, dining table, microwave and your own fridge freezer. They even benefit from a private veranda with a picnic table!
Our bunkhouses are ideal for larger groups such as youth groups, school trips, sports clubs and other organisations. They`re heavily insulated, and come with their very own kitchen, cooking area and toilets. We can accommodate up to 15 people in our bunkhouses.
With the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, The Farne Islands, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles, The Coastal Cycle Route, Alnwick Castle and the coastal splender of this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the doorstep, Budle Bay Campsite is the perfect base from which to explore!

10 month season from March to January
6 different pitch sizes available, depending on the length of your caravan
Season pitch holders who sign up for the following season can leave their touring caravans on their pitches over the winter

Most pitches are fully serviced, including water, electricity (16 amp), and grey water disposal on pitch

Bamburgh,2 miles away has a stunning Castle which sits 45 meters above sea level on a rocky plateau and visit the stunning Grace Darling Musuem.
Seahouses,5 miles away has a famous smokery and is the gateway to the Farne Island boat trips
Budle Bay is situated at the landward end of The Budle Bay, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and within the Lindisfarne Nature Reserve renowned for the incredible variety of migratory and indigenous birds and other wildlife found on its shores. It is one of the top three bird watching sites in the country.
To the South of Budle Bay lies Alnwick.You can visit Alnwick Castle,famous as "Hogwarts" in the Harry Potter films and for its amazing gardens.
To the North is Lindisfarne Island with its causeway, Castle and historic Abbey. Further North still lies Berwick upon Tweed where you can walk along its historical walls, shop

Owner Directions
Budle Bay Campsite is 2.5 miles east off the A1 along the B1342. From the South travel along the A1, passing Alnwick and 10 miles further North as you approach the first turning to Belford take a right turn onto the B1342. Continue along this road for 1.5 miles and you will clearly see the site on your right just before the village of Waren Mill. From the North go through Berwick upon Tweed and 15 miles further on at the 3rd mention of Belford, take a left turn onto the B1342. We are along this road. We can also be reached by following the Coastal Route and turning left just after the village of Waren Mill. We are 120m on the left.
