Small secluded family run park in the heart of Wharfedale just 2 miles from Grassington. An ideal base from which to walk and tour the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Wood Nook has numerous footpaths running in all directions from the park which you can access without using your car. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside which has an abundance of wild flowers, lots of wildlife, and magnificent views. Also within easy reach are the towns and cities of Skipton,Harrogate,Leeds and York. Our closest coastline is the Fylde coast in Lancashire, best known for Blackpool which is only 75 minutes away.
New heating for 2015 for our toilet and shower blocks, free hot water for showers and dishwashing.

Owner Directions

The easiest route is to come from Skipton. Take the B6265 which is signposted for Grassington. Follow this road for 9 miles until Threshfield where you need to carry straight on onto the B6160. Follow this road for only 100 yards then turn left on to Skirethorns Lane. Wood Nook is then signposted at 600 yards and 300 yards. If you are using Satnav to find us set the address finder for 'Skirethorns Lane' and NOT our postcode. From Skirethorns Lane we are signposted as above.
