Elm Cottage Touring Park is an immaculately kept site in beautiful Cheshire, located 3 miles east of Tarporley and 12 miles east of Chester. Oulton Park racing circuit is 1 mile away.
Elm Cottage comprises of a 2 acre Touring Park & a 6.5 acre Camping Field.
The Camping Field is open Easter to end of Sept for tents, carvans motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents. All pithces have EHU. The field is surrounded by farm land and horses adjoin in one area. There are beautiful views across the Cheshire Plain to the Pennines.
The Touring Park has 35 pitches, a mix of regular or fully serviced hard stannding pitches.
During busier spring and summer Friday evenings the wood fired pizza oven is open, and on some weekend mornings homemade Crepes are also available.
The award winning Amenity Block has modern temperature controllable showers, with underfloor heating delivered through environmentally friendly technologies.
There is a small shop at reception which has all the basics you may require, including locally sourced bacon, eggs and bread, plus a wealth of caravan & camping accessories and plenty of leaflets on the local attractions.
Dogs are welecomed with a dedicated dog walk areas and plenty of off-site walks available too.
Nearby Attractions
A short stroll from the site is a popular country pub and just over a mile away you have Little Budworth village, with 2 lovely family & dog friendly pubs and a beautiful country park to explore.
Also there is the racing circuit of Oulton Park which makes the campsite popular on race weekends. Not much further afield you will find plenty of walking in Delamere Forest, the very chic village of Tarporley and the lovely sandstone hills of Beeston and Peckforton.
Chester with its historic city walls and world famous zoo is only 12 miles away.
The magnificent Jodrell Bank Observatory and Discovery Centre is only 12 miles to the east.
There are a range of other tourst attractions in the vicinity too!
Leave the M6 at junction 18 and stay on the A54, past Winsford. Just after the turning for Little Budworth, you will see you green Elm Cottage signs. Don't let your SAT Nav turn your off the A54 towards Little Budworth! If you come in on the A49, at the junction with the A54, head towards Winsford. We're on the left after The Shrewsbury Arms.
