At just over 500 feet up with stunning views across some of Snowdonias most beautiful coast and mountain scenery we have created a new opportunity at the Bunkorama to share the magic of this stunning location with those who want to enjoy the mountains, rocks, and wildlife
We are providing new camping facilities to suit backpackers, cyclists and people who want to explore southern Snowdonia and the Mawddach Estuary. At Bunkorama you don`t need to hunt around in amongst the caravans to find the tent bit. Our small site is aimed at walkers cyclists climbers and explorers, people who want great views, and great walking from the moment they step outside their tent in the morning. We have a fantastic camping pod with hot and cold water, heating and cooking facilities for a family of 4. It has the most wonderful varanda to sit on with a glass of wine and gaze out at cardigan bay.
And its just a mile from wonderful coastline, magnificent beaches and public transport by rail and bus.
We offer a quiet, simple, beautiful and peaceful location but within easy reach of some fantastic outdoor activities and the resort facilities of Barmouth with its pretty harbour side only 25 minutes walk down the stunning mountain footpath.
Please note that because of a narrow lane and overhanging trees leading up to the Bunkorama we are only able to accept small tents (up to 3m X3M) and smaller campervans such as Transit or VW T5 size.
* Pricees start at £23 per night for a two person tent or campervan.
* Our pod is as little as £60 per night if you book a whole week and a
single night is £92.
* For those who just want a bed for the night we have a backpackers bunkhouse from £23 pppn

Nearby Attractions
Very close to the Cambrian Way and Ardudwy Way footpaths and only a mile from the Wales Coast Path, Cycle Route 8 and the Mawddach Trail.
Rock climbers will find the popular Barmouth Slabs only 5 minutes walk away.
Many watersports are available in Barmouth including paddle boarding and kayaking and there are locally based groups who will take you canyoning.
Set off North or South to discover our narrow-gauge steam railways and the world heritage site of Harlech Castle is only 25 minutes drive.
Another 15 minutes on is the stunning italianate village of Portmeirion.
We are a popular base for those who want to cycle at the National Mountain Bike centre at Coed y Brenin.
As well as exploring the peaks of nearby mountains such as Cader Idris you can also explore the inside of our mountains at Corris, Llechwedd Slate Caverns

From the A496 on the Dolgellau side of Barmouth turn into Panorama Road by the Lawrenny Lodge Guest House. Your Sat Nav should take you this way. Once into Panoram Road follow the signs to Bunkorama and follow the Road around to the right of Bae Abermaw Hotel. After about a Mile you will reach a small car park on your right. Please take sharp left here and ignore Sat Nav if it tells you to carry on. We are the second entrance on Left after about 200 yards. Please not that the "Bunkorama, Barmouth" can be found on Google Maps. The last 200 yards is only suitable for smaller campervans
