A secluded family Park situated behind Olde World Village Pub in the heart of Yorkshire midway between the Ancient Cathedral City of Ripon and the cosmopolitan Spa Town of Harrogate
The Caravan Site is attractively situated at the rear of our ‘Olde World Country Inn, in the centre of the village of Markington.
Sheltered & secluded in a pleasant garden setting. The site is licensed for 75 static caravans with a few Tourers & Tents, set within six acres of land.
The park is sheltered and secluded and surrounded by hedges , adding to its charm. Each plot has an electric hook-up point.
New toilet block in 2013 with toilets, Showers & Launderette
Also on site we have a laundry block and a childrens playground.
WiFi is available
We support the village shop and do not have a shop on site. The village shop & post office sells all your needs and is open 8am-5pm everyday except Sunday which closes at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon.
Weekly Bus to Ripon Market
Local Riding, Golf & Swimming
Pets welcome and also in some of our hire fleet caravans
'Doggy Walk' at the rear of the Park.
Nearby Attractions
Only 2 miles from the famous National Trust property of Fountains Abbey & the popular Brimham Rocks.
Being in the centre of the UK we are on the edge of The Dales and all local attractions - Golf & Racing in Ripon, Castles & Rivers in Knaresborough, fun rides at Lightwater Valley and only 40 minutes from the Ancient Cathedral City of York and The Viking Centre.
Convenient for your hearts desire i.e. Shops, Theatres, Cinemas, Golf, Swimming, Horse Riding, the Races, Walking, Dancing or just stay and relax at the Village Inns.

Owner Directions
Access into the park is best approached from ‘Wormald Green on the A61.
Being 7 miles north of Harrogate and 4 miles south of Ripon on the A61 turn west into the village of Markington. We are then 1 mile from here, on entering the village you pass the village Post Office & General Store on the right - then bare left up into the village high street and the pub is on the left just passed The Cross Keys Inn.
