Monkton Wyld Holiday Park offers idyllic Camping and Caravanning in West Dorset. We are three miles from the coastal village of Charmouth and the historic harbour town of Lyme Regis, the centre of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.
The holiday park has 25 acres of beautifully landscaped and carefully maintained grounds within West Dorsets` Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The park has been carefully planted with native woodland to divide the grounds into several separate small paddocks which provide an atmosphere of peace and quiet.

We love to see your pets! We understand their importance to you and your family. With two large dog walking areas, there is lots of room for exercise.
Come and enjoy our award-winning shower and wash facilities which provide up-to-date disabled facilities and a dedicated family and parent and child room. In addition to the new shower and wash facilities, we have another excellent building within the park offering the same options.
Our games room offers a variety of games for all ages and we are adding new options on a regular basis. Perfect for chilling out, having a game of pool, table football or air hockey
We have a fully stocked shop for all those essentials and little luxuries
High speed fibre broadband - Free access to all our guests
Food Vans: We currently have three different food vans visiting weekly. Fish and Chips, Wood-fired pizzas and a Burger Van. A breakfast van is on site every weekend and bank holiday Monday mornings.
Donkeys, swans, caves, trams, sandy beaches, coastal and inland walks, historic houses, gardens, cream teas, planes, tanks and zebras all nearby!
Lyme Regis has many seasonal events including Life Boat and Carnival weeks together with Jazz, Fossil, Food and Folk festivals.
Nearby Attractions
The coastal towns of Charmouth and Lyme Regis which have a great deal of charm, are only a few minutes away.
Lyme Regis has a maze of little streets leading down to the ancient harbour, known as The Cobb. The Cobb has existed scince the 13th century and has a long history as a trading port. Today the Cobb is used by fishing boats and pleasure craft alike and although separate from the main town it remains the focal point of Lyme Regis.
Plenty of National Trust properties and heritage sites just a few minutes drive from the campsite.

M5 Junction 25. Follow signs to Ilminster, then Chard, then Axminster and turn East onto the A35 towards Charmouth. We are on the Devon/Dorset border turn inland towards Marshwood.
From A303 as above from Ilminster.
