You will always find a warm welcome at Barn Farm. We are in the heart of the Peak District and we provide an idyllic location for camping.
We are located 7 miles south of the historic market town of Bakewell and 3 miles west of Matlock. Barn Farm is ideally situated to access the diverse array of local attractions.
Offering 5 star facilities and a picture perfect scenery you will be able to relax and enjoy your stay!
The campsite is extremely popular with all ages whom many visit several times a year.
We have separate areas for tourers, camper vans, trailer tents and motorhomes which are hard surfaced pitches and provide an all weather surface. Some have shared illuminated electrical hook up bollards with drinking water and some have individual electrical hook up points. They all enjoy lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
Tourers are unable to be pitched in the camping fields, they need to be booked onto one of the touring pitches.
Please note tents are not able to be pitched next to the caravans. There are separate fields for tents.
We have various toilet and shower facilities, all of our shower blocks have individual shower cubicles. We also have a disabled persons shower room and toilet with baby changing facilities. The main shower block is open 24 hours a day.
We have a washer and dryer available.
We have a wooden children`s play area for children up to the age of 10, parental supervision is required at all times.
A games room with TV and freeview channels, various arcade games, pool table and table and chairs are also provided for your enjoyment.
We have a shop on-site selling essential camping and caravanning accessories and those forgotten groceries.
Near to the campsite in the village are two pubs which are family, dog, and walker friendly.
Please email or contact us for availability.
In addition to our camping and caravan pitches we also have five camping barns providing accommodation from 2 to 12 people.
All camping barns are provided with crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils, toaster and a kettle. We also provide some pans, frying pans and dishes. If you are looking to cook something special for your group we do suggest bringing pots/dishes with you.

Owner Directions
Being located between Bakewell and Matlock, Barn farm is extremely accesible by the A6 and then taking the B5056.
Please do not, under any circumstances, try and approach the campsite via Stanton Lees in any large vehicle. The road is very steep and narrow and is most unsuitable. Please use the B5056 as above.
We are at the very top of the village on the right hand side.
