Set within the Ystwyth Valley in the Cambrian Mountains with forest walks and cycle trails in all directions, Dolau Afon is the perfect place to unwind and relax amidst glorious surroundings of hills and forests. We also have `Dark Skies` and set within an `Area of Astounding Natural Beauty`.
Our facilities include 14 ehu and 4 hard standings, 2 showers, 3 flushing toilets and 2 urinals, a dog wash, and a warm welcome at this sheltered beautiful site, with 20 pitches mostly on grass.
We are on a bus route (the T21) to Aberystwyth 9 miles away. We also offer fly/spinning fishing from our river bank, accessed from the camping field and a complementary fishing licence courtesy of Llanilar Angling Club, (worm only).

Wi-Fi and we also have a `Camping Trailer` which is converted horse trailer, which is insulated and has electric, it also has its own private garden, ideal if you want to bring your dog. Please bring your own bedding and towels.
The trailer has an outside `alfresco` kitchen and dining area, with hammock and fire pit. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including a fridge. Toilet and shower facilities are on site a few yards away.
We welcome: Families,motorcyclists, cyclists, walkers and solo campers. Tents, caravans, motorhomes, car campers, trailer tents and campervans.

Within a radius of 10 miles there are numerous things to do, Devils Bridge, The Hafod, Rhydol Rail Way, Red Kite Centre, Butterfly Farm, Lakes and Mountains, Elan Valley. Aberystwyth, Beautiful coves and beaches, Mountain biking and lots more.

Owner Directions
From Aberystwyth take the B4340 inland towards Tregaron for 9 miles. We are situated on the bridge in Llanafan on the B4340. If coming from Devils Bridge, follow south on the B4343 to Pont-rhyd-y-Groes, on passing the Miners Arms pub take the right fork past the garage and Cwtch Cafe and follow the valley to the end past the Saw Mill, at the junction turn right over the bridge and directly into the campsite. Dolau Afon, Llanafan, SY23 4BJ.
There is a road closure in Pontrhydegroes and a diversion.
DO NOT take the TRISANT Road from Devils Bridge, this is a narrow single track toad.
