The Campsite is on former working dairy farmland, an excellent little site We have all the facilities of much larger & more expensive sites but with less people! The emphasis of peace and tranquillity within a rural area is uppermost, we welcome well behaved pets and have a dedicated fenced dog off lead exercise area by the entrance & also 55 acres of dog walk without roads. We cater for families too with our family/disabled washroom & pool table/table tennis/fusball tables in the barn. We also have a ball area for football, basketball & volleyball in the big field. Bikes/scooters/skateboards etc are not allowed on site for safety as we are a small site.
Facilities include 2 small ponds stocked with young and big fish (28lb carp), a picnic area, open fields to walk in and look over, numerous nearby bridle paths, an onsite reception & small shop & take away trailer both open & available in high season only; our on site spa caters for manicures, pedicures & massages/alternative therapies there is a hot tub to huire. We have tractor trailer rides in high season. We have free to use fridge and freezer in the barn. Everything stops at 10:30pm to maintain the peace on site. The entrance gets are alarmed from 10:30pm to 8am so there is not traffic through site between those hours and no vehicle access at the entrance.
Each pitch has uninterrupted views over open unspoilt countryside most with parking next to the pitch (not on the grass in very wet weather) 2 heated shower blocks with 15 showers, 11 wcs, 2 urinals & 6 dishwashing sinks, a disabled/family, a bathroom, 2 laundries and a chemical toilet disposal unit & an indoor heated hot water dog shower/drying room.
We have various pitch types from non electric to grass to hardstanding to fully serviced.
The site has CCTV, nightly gate alarm from 10:30pm to 8am for everyone`s safety and security. We also offer secure storage facilities & 97 seasonal pitches separate from the main site Pitch fees start at £23 up to £45 for a superpitch this is for pitch, unit, one car, EHU and 2 adults. Children,extra adults, dogs and extra vehicles are chargeable on top.

1mile away is the Shaves Cross Inn which is over 500 years old &on one of the oldest pilgrim trails,leading to Whitchurch Canonicorum Church(spot the infamous `umbrella murder` grave),being the only church to have its saint`s relics buried within except for Westminster Abbey!For a donation the views from the top of the spire are amazing!5miles at West Bay you can charter a fishing or tourist boat;home of the pirate raft race!Bridport Wednesday &Saturday street markets& town museum for its history of rope making Charmouth beach is 3miles away with guided fossil tours &museum or hire a beach hut for the day!Many varied national trust trails over the south west coast path Lyme Regis is 10 miles &infamous for Mary Anning &her find of the 1st complete Ichthyosaur fossil at age 12 in 1811
