The Old Hill Inn Caravan Site is part of our family run pub nestling in the Yorkshire Dales National Park at the foot of Ingleborough and Whernside, part of the famous Three Peaks Walk. This makes it an ideal destination from which to tackle this walk and an ideal finishing point for refreshments once exhaustion has taken over!!!
It is 5 miles from the village of Ingleton which offers a variety of amenities including shops, an outdoor swimming pool, the famous Ingleton waterfalls walk and a number of shorter walks in and around the village, and is only 7 miles from Horton in Ribblesdale where there is fly fishing in an old quarry, and 8 miles to Bentham where there is fishing and an 18 hole golf course.
We are 2 miles from Ribblehead Station and the renowned Ribblehead Viaduct which is on part of the famous Settle to Carlisle Line. With breathtaking scenery along the route it is one of the only lines in the UK that still runs steam trains, mainly during the summer months.
The Old Hill Inn itself is located within 100 yards of the caravan site and offers a hearty menu of home cooked food for which we have received a Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor for the last 3 years running. Booking a table for dinner is important as we get very busy, particularly during Summer. We also offer well-kept locally brewed real ales, a selection of wines, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, teas and coffees, home made flapjack and brownie, and a variety of home made preserves.
