Field House Farm is a peaceful, off-grid site surrounded by the Yorkshire Wolds with far-reaching views over open countryside, tucked away on a farm and livery stables. Take a walk on the vast local network of public footpaths (including one 3.5-mile route to the local fish and chip shop). The Wolds Way, Chalkland Way and Minster Way are all within close proximity offering spectacular scenery. Cyclists can hop on your bike and set off on the National Cycle Route 164 or the Way of the Roses, directly accessible from the farm gates or try a more rugged off road route on the surrounding public bridleways.
Set in East Yorkshire, this farm site is surrounded by nature - owl boxes are spread around in the high trees, and there`s a large wooded area where you`re sure to spot (or hear) a variety of birds.
Field House Farm is a hidden gem, it`s a perfect hideaway for those looking to be off grid with the added luxury of toilets, enchanting woodland showers with hot water and other amenities available.
August 2023 - Newly opened coffee shop on site serving drinks, ice-creams and snacks.
Some local produce is sold depending on what`s in season, including fresh eggs straight from the farm`s hens. For more supplies, you`re about a quarter of an hour`s drive from Sledmere House and Gardens, the site`s nearest stately home where there`s a well-stocked farm shop.
Within 4 miles there is a traditional village pub, as well as tea room, restaurant and gift shop.
Field House Farm is about a 10-minute drive from the small market town of Driffield, where there is a supermarket and a railway station. You can also head here for pub trips, meals out or waterside strolls along the Driffield Navigation.
Dogs are welcome and horses can also be accommodated by prior arrangement.
