The fabulous Burrowhead Holiday Village is a beautiful holiday park owned by Lee Park Estates, designed for lodge, caravan, motorhome and tent holidays in Scotland. It is set in a idyllic location on the Dumfries and Galloway coast.
With views of the Isle of Man and Solway Firth, Burrowhead Holiday Village lets you pitch your tent or tourer right on the edge of the Scottish coast. There are 90 gently sloping grass pitches to choose from, suitable for tents, tourers and motorhomes. All of the pitches are nice and spacious, enjoying stunning views out to sea.
Situated on spacious parklands, a quiet and dog friendly site with lots of coastal walks to nearby beaches and golf courses.

Not only that, but we offer holiday homes for sale too, so you can make your holiday last a lifetime! We are open for a full 12 months a year.
The park is family and pet friendly and offers exceptional views across the the Solway Firth to the Isle of Man, as well as access to miles of rugged and unspoiled coastline.
Although the park is in a rural location, the huge selection of facilities and activities offered at the site makes it the perfect place for family holidays.
There are plenty of activities offered at the site to keep the whole family entertained during a stay at Burrowhead Holiday Village.
For days when outdoor entertainment is needed, the newly refurbished retro crazy golf course offers fun for all ages. For the more serious golfer, a nine-hole pitch and putt and a putting green are also available to use throughout your stay.
Helping to keep the whole family entertained no matter the weather, the game zone offers an array of machines and games to pass the time, while the bar and clubhouse offer regular live entertainment and live sports to keep a smile on everyone`s face.
After a hard day`s work relaxing by the new open-air pool, why not treat yourself to some quality spa time by using the indoor sauna and jacuzzi? Perfect to help you unwind after a peaceful coastal walk, the spa facilities can help you maintain that holiday feeling.

Nearby Attractions
From the park, you can take a cliff-top walk in both directions, with a guest favourite being the short hike to St Ninian`s cave. If you have young children or aren`t too good on your feet, then the nearby car park offers a shorter 20-minute walk to the cave through a lovely forest.
Walking in the opposite direction, you won`t have to go far before you you stumble upon the local village of the Isle of Whithorn. Here, you can visit the ruins of the old church, go crabbiing off the pier, swim in the sea as well as much more.
Large species of fish are regularly caught from the Burrowhead coastline. The gorgeous holiday village remains a place of tranquillity and awe-inspiring beauty throughout the entire year.
Come rain or shine your four-legged friend needs to be walked, and if you`ve brought them with you, you can enjoy evening or daytime strolls along the range of glorious beaches located close to the park.
