Nestled in Robin Hood‘s North Nottinghamshire Trentfield Farm is located on the banks of the River Trent in the quiet hamlet of Church Laneham, an old estate village of the Bishop of York which is steeped in History.
We are a caravan and camp site that‘s ideal for visiting Sherwood Forest, The city of Lincoln, Sundown Adventureland and Clumber Park. We work on a good old fashioned policy of a traditional Caravan and camping site, but with all the mod cons and excellent customer service.
The park is on the banks of the river Trent and we offer free fishing in season. There are 2 excellent pubs a short walk away, the Ferry Boat Inn is a stroll down the towpath, and the Bees Knees which has a great reputation for cask ales & its Gin Library.
The local shop is a 5 minute drive or 10 minute cycle away which has provisions of papers, milk, and freshly baked bread!
Trentfield Farm accepts, tents, caravans, motorhomes and VW campers and even the odd bivouac to the site, we have electrical hook up for those who require it, and 4 way pitches if you wish to camp with your friends in a group.
The Park has flat level grass pitches, optional electrical hook ups, a modern amenity block as well as non communal family wash rooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. We dont have a shop on the park, but do have a vending machine for milk etc. We are also dog friendly.
There is plenty of room for children to play, without disturbing the tranquillity of our other customers.
Thanks to this site and its customers comments we are continually updating and improving the park.
A Comprehensive Information pack given on arrival giving lots of suggestions of what to do when your here.
Our tariff starts at £10.00 for a single backpacker up to £24.50 for a serviced pitch including 2 people, electric and an adjacent water tap.
