We offer rural peace and tranquility at the heart of central Brittany on our attractive CL style site.
We are around 1½ hours from both St Malo and Roscoff Ferry Ports and 10 minutes from stunning Lake Guerledan.
Le Boterff is a traditional Breton farmhouse set in almost an acre of beautiful gardens. We are situated on an very quiet lane with virtually no passing traffic, yet less than 5 minutes from the pretty village of Saint Mayeux.
The campsite is an open, level, south facing, rural site, protected by a screen of Laurel and Fir trees.
There is room for up to six units, all with electric hook ups. The pitches are spacious and not marked out. There is one gravel hard standing pitch. The fresh water point and grey waste disposal is in the campsite itself. Chemical waste disposal point is also provided (Organic / Green Chemicals only as we have a septic tank).
There is a small converted barn at the top end of the garden which houses the shower room (Free Showers, Plentiful Hot Water), 2 toilets, washing up area and recycling facilities. Garden chairs, barbecue, garden and indoor games, a library of books and puzzles and a comprehensive file of local information, guides, maps and leaflets are all available. The Shower and toilet facilities are currently under renovation for completion at the end of April 2022.
All guests are welcome to share the lovely gardens. Free wifi is available throughout.
Luxury Coachman VIP Caravan for hire on site, sleeps 4 adults. Fully equipped with 2 TV, radio, Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Double Island Bed, separate shower and WC. Awning provided and installed. 2 full water barrels provided at the start of the stay
Two Self catering Gites and Studio apartment available. Rose Gite sleeps up to six in three bedrooms, Chevrefeuille Gite sleeps up to five in two bedrooms. The Roost Studio sleeps two.
The Studio is not suitable for people with restricted mobility due to steep and narrow staircase.

There are many cycle routes and walks through lovely countryside, along the Nantes-Brest Canal, over former railway track beds. Cycle hire available.
There are many family attractions within easy reach, in fact there is so much to see and do there is never enough time to do it all, so you will want to return again to this lovely peaceful part of Brittany.
The friendly and helpful British owners - Sue and Terry live on site and are available to assist you with suggestions for places to visit, things to do, local restaurants and cafes to sample.

Nearby Attractions
The villages of St Mayeux and St Gilles Vieux Marche are just a few minutes away. (Small Supermarket, Post Office, Bar, Restaurant). The town of Mur de Bretagne is 6km away.
The stunning Lac de Guerledan is 10 minutes drive away and only 15 minutes to the Abbey at Bon Repos and the lovely Nantes - Brest Canal. Long sandy beaches and rugged coastlines are easily accessible to the North, South and West. Chateaux, pretty villages, markets in ancient towns of historic interest, like Pontivy, Josselin, Quintin, St Brieuc and Quimper are within easy reach.
There are many cycle routes and lovely walks along peaceful lanes, through stunning countryside and along desinated routes. The Nantes-Brest Canal and the former railway track bed by the lake are particularly recommended.

Owner Directions
From D767 Corlay to Mur de Bretagne turn into the D76 to St Mayeux. In the village you pass the Mairie and church on your right and pass the turning to St Gilles, D69, also on your right. Turn right into the small lane - Rue du Rocher - immediately after the Salle Municipale. There is a signpost at this junction for Le Boterff D'en Haut. Follow this lane out of village for about 1km. At the end of the lane is a small junction with a triangle of grass in the centre. Bear right here and you will see Le Boterff on your left. We can also provide alternative directions for longer caravans for easier access to our site.
