Lovely, relaxed proper campsite surrounded by woods, nestled into a valley in the South Downs National Park - and with newly refurbished facilities. A great place for families, couples and groups.
We like to keep it as simple and natural as possible....
Hook up is available but is limited, first come first served basis.

Five minute walk from Alfriston Village
You are welcome to bring your own fire pit, but has to be off the ground, you are welcome to hire one of our fire barrels, which comes kindling, plus a large bag of logs, you are of course welcome to bring your own logs, but please don`t chop trees down at the campsite
The site is open for Duke of Edinburgh Student Award participants and Youth Groups, large families and individuals, special interest groups, all welcome.
Nearby Attractions
The site itself is set near the picturesque village of Alfriston along the Cuckmere River. Set within the South Downs there are numerous walks to be enjoyed if so inclined such as the South Downs Way.
The village of Alfriston itself contains a number of quaint Old English shops and tearooms as well as a number of restaurants and two hotels whose restaurants are also open to non-residents.
There are also pubs within walking distance too.
Drusillas Zoo Park can be found further on from Alfriston either by car or by walking.
The English Wine Centre can also be found next to Drusillas and sells locally brewed wine as well as wine from other parts of the country.
The Living World Nature Centre can also be found in the local area and well as The Seven Sisters Country Park.
