We are an adults only site. A secluded hideaway on a working farm. If you like peace and quiet, we are the place. Absolutely no road noise. The camp field is surrounded my mature trees, its almost level, well drained and has a small stream on two sides. Plenty of hardstanding and electric hookup points. We have 2 toilets and one shower, all unisex, No dishwashing facilities or fridge/freezer.
Campfires are generally allowed, we can provide free use of firepits and provide firewood at cost.
PLEASE NOTE; WE VALUE OUR PEACE AND TRANQUILITY AND THEREFORE HAVE A STRICT NO MUSIC POLICY AND EXPECT COMPLETE QUIET BY 10.30PM. ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING GROUPS ALLOWED.
Our rates for 2023 are £20 per unit, per night, ( max. 2 adults). That price includes the use of our shower/toilet etc. No extra for awnings. £5 per night for EHU, and £5 per additional person over the 2 included. No charge for well behaved dogs.

Harrogate is a 10 min drive away. Fountains Abbey/Brimham Rocks/Ripley Castle all nearby. Great location for cycling on traffic light roads or walking.
We are exactly 1 mile from the A59. Always come from the Menwith Hill end, from the A59 turn onto Cold Cotes Road (S.P RAF Menwith Hill), then 1st right down Cote Hill Lane, then 1st Right again onto Staupes Road. We are the 3nd private entrance on the right, clearly identified by the Camping Club sign. Beware that if your coming from the Harrogate direction, satnavs may direct you off the A59 before the turning for Cold Cotes Road! The correct turn off, of the A59 also has a dedicated right turn filter lane.
