Situated in beautiful Berkshire countryside we are open all year round - 12 months, 4 seasons where each one brings its own highlights to the surrounding area. We provide the perfect setting to relax and to spend quality time in an impressive and tranquil location, whether you holiday in one of our chalets or just looking for another unforgettable caravan and camping adventure.
Our visitors can enjoy the facilities of the adjacent Country Park which covers more than 100 acres and includes nature trails, woodland walks, picnic areas, a childrens play area, and a paddling pool.
The park was originally part of Windsor Forest and was a favourite hunting ground of the Tudors. In time it became a popular leisure centre known throughout the South of the UK as California in England.
Touring and Camping
We offer 30 individual pitches for Touring Caravans, Motorhomes, Campervans and Trailer Tents, each with a hard standing base and room for an awning, together with a water supply and disposal point. All pitches have electrical hook-ups and ample space to settle down for a relaxing break.
With pitches nestled among the pines, our aim is to provide you with the best possible stay.
A well-appointed Toilet Block, personally supervised by the management, has hand basins with hot and cold feed, razor points and hot showers, together with outside dish washing facilities and a laundry & clothes-drying area. Our shower block also includes a modern family/disabled room with plenty of space and easy access.
Chalets and Log Cabins
We offer a variety of 2 & 3 bedroom chalets situated in the heart of California Country Park, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Most of our chalets are situated on the bank of Longmoor Lake and are ideal for fishing, or relaxing in the evening with family or friends. Some chalets are situated away from the lake nestled amongst towering pines and beautiful landscapes, offering incredible views. The surrounding woodland is perfect for walking and boasts an abundance of wildlife.
Every chalet has its own open plan lounge with LCD TV/DVD player and comfortable sofas. The kitchens come complete with electric hob and oven, refrigerator with box freezer, kettle, microwave and toaster to make cooking, enjoyable as possible.
Camping Pods
Beautiful, natural, well-built, insulated, secure wooden camping hut that provides basic accommodation in place of a tent. Pods are insulated with sheeps wool and have a special designed foil material to help regulate summer and winter temperatures.
Small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and TV. Roller blind or curtain to the entrance door, door mats, carpet or laminate, electric heater, an electric socket, and lights for all year round comfort.
All pods have different variations of beds and we will help you to decide the most suitable for your stay.
The pod has lockable French doors for added security and a small window at the back of the pod to help ventilate and give a through draught on hot summer days. Both are double-glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation.
Nearby Attractions
We are ideally situated for visiting such places as London,and surrounding areas. Legoland and Windsor are 30 minutes by car. Train stations are 3miles (5km) away.Trains into london direct line 1hr.
Riding schools, a sports complex with an ice-rink & large indoor swimming pool, and also a ski-slope .... all within a few miles of the Park.
There is a small park with swimming pool and cafe within a few minutes walk from us.Ideal for children and toddlers to play.
The Thames with its pretty villages and many houses and gardens of interest.
Windsor Castle,Eton Sunningdale, and the Ascot, Epsom, Newbury and Kempton races Hampton Court and many other attractions.
Legoland, the Adventure Park and Zoo at Chessington, and Thorpe Park .... all within a short motoring distance of the Park.
Heathrow and Gatwick Airports .... easily accessible from the nearby M3, M4 and M25 motorways.
Train stations 3 miles (5km).
