La Grenouille Vacances is a little paradise 'Adults Only' in the Dordogne situated on a plateau in the countryside with forests and meadows. There is a fabulous variety of plants and animals in this region. Deer are regular grazers on our land whilst on starry nights you can be serenaded by the frogs' chorus or the hooting of owls. Pure nature - healthy, fresh air mixed with the spicy smell of a rich flora - a place to relax away from the activity of the modern world and recharge your batteries.
We rent out a gite (holiday home; classified 3***) and we have a comfortable small campsite (8 pitches). From the big pool with terrace you have a beautiful view to Hautefort. The spacious pitches are well maintained, private and are sunny and shaded. The sanitary bloc is new, modern and very clean. There are 2 showers, 2 WC's, 3 sinks, 2 handbasins, washing machne and tumble dryer. There are a fridge, freezer and micro wave free to use even as Wifi. There are also central BBQ's with pick-nick tables available as well as a herb garden. Several times a week we cook for our guests and we serve the meals in our bistro or on the terrace. Hautefort, where you can do all your shopping and where there are several restaurants, is only 3km away. Theatre, concerts, markets in picturesque villages or walking trails (120 km of walking trails, some directly starting from our campsite), it is all available within the area. Whether you are looking for rest, space, nature, sport or culture, La Grenouille Vacances is the perfect place to spend your holidays.
Minimum stay on our campsite is 3 nights.

Chateau Hautefort. The famous Lascaux cave paintings. The caves of Tourtoirac. The towns of Terrasson, Brive, Sarlat, Perigueux, Brantome (Venice of the Perigord) and Rocamadour. Canoeing on the Dordogne, the Vezere and the Auvezere. A visit of the vineyards of Bergerac and Bordeaux.
Walking there is 120 km. directly starting from the campsite. From time to time we organize walks. This summer we were accompanied by someone that grew up in this area and knows a lot about it - its history, the culture, the flora and fauna. He made this walk into a unique experience.

D704 -> from St. Agnan -> direction Hautefort/ Badefols dAns -> past 'Vival' (a small grocery shop on your left) in Hautefort -> turn left to Boisseuilh -> D62. After the first bridge -> turn left to La Besse and Camping La Grenouille, continue straight on for 2 km and 'voila, vous y etes!', you're there.
