Welcome to Doone Valley Campsite, or to those who have been before, `Carols Campsite`. The campsite is at the heart of The Exmoor National Park and nestled in the Doone Valley.
Toilets, Free hot showers and pot wash.
We also now have free WIFI on site.
The campsite is comprised of level fields beside a shallow stream, ideal for children to play in, and set in the valley surrounded by hills and trees, and with easy access through the car park at Malmsmead.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on-site as long as they are kept on a lead at all times and owners clean up after them.
We allow campfires on-site, preferably in off the ground fire bowls, and you can purchase logs from the campsite owner.
There are plenty of local activities for all the family in the area including fishing and horse riding.
We also have two separate camp fields especially for groups, hire the whole field and have a group camp, ideal for clubs or family get togethers.
There are local pubs nearby offering a great range of ales and cooked food.
There is easy level access to the campsite through the main carpark at Malmsmead.
Beautiful Shepherds hut situated on the campsite, available to book through Air bnb. Click on the images below to find out more and check availability for our hut. The Shepherds hut is very wellequipped, is very cosy and comfortable, has electricity, a fire pit/BBQ and is dog friendly and sleeps 2 people on either 2 single beds or 1 large double bed .
