Thirkleby Hall is a spacious and picturesque 30 acre park set in the grounds of an old stately home, containing a lake full of fish, an ancient wood full of wildlife, and a small club full of friendly people.
Situated on a slight rise with distant views of Sutton Bank and the White Horse, 4 miles from the pretty market town of Thirsk and 20 miles from the historic city of York, Thirkleby Hall makes an ideal base for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.
Park facilities include a fishing lake, large recreation field, small club, laundry, toilet/shower block.
The park has 10 short stay camping pitches, and 40 seasonal tourer pitches with electric hookups. Please note we are not offering any short stay touring pitches in the 2024 season.

We also have two static caravans providing self catering holiday accommodation which can be hired on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday between March and October. Current prices are shown on our web site.

Nearby Attractions
Thirkleby Hall is situated in beautiful Yorkshire countryside between the Dales and the Moors National Parks, and there is lots to do in the area.
Picturesque places to visit include the market town of Thirsk, the spa town of Harrogate, the walled city of York, and a selection of stately homes & gardens such as Castle Howard the setting for Brideshead Revisited.
For entertainment there is Lightwater Valley at Ripon, Flamingoland Zoo at Malton, Atlantis Water Park and also Kinderland at Scarborough. There are cinemas in Thirsk, Ripon, Harrogate and York.
There is a small club on the park, and a selection of pubs and restaurants in Thirsk. Famous local eateries include Bettys tea-rooms in York and Harrogate.
