Description
Pitches: 5 C/MC + 8 Tents
Opening Dates next year: 01/04/2025 to 31/10/2025
Minstead Manor Farm campsite is a quiet, hideaway site, positioned away from any roads or houses. The slightly sloping grass site is surrounded by fields and overlooks a trout lake (please note only open April/May for fishing - contact us for details of fly fishing permits). At 1.5 acres, we can accommodate 5 caravans/motorhomes (CCC members only), and a maximum of 8 tents, which we hope ensures a friendly and peaceful atmosphere. We have facilities including electric hook-up, toilets, showers, washing up area and freezer. All standard pitches are 6m x 6m, with 2 XL pitches of 7m x 8m. Arrivals from noon and departures by 11am.
Glamping bell tents are also available, fully furnished with double beds, and on private pitches adjacent to the main site. Each tent has its own well equipped cooking area, as well as outside seating with firepit.
The campsite is established on a working farm: there are sheep in the neighbouring fields, and lambs from late spring time.
We welcome dogs, but they must be kept on leads at all times due to the livestock mentioned above. A short walk is available in nearby private woodland, and for longer routes, Highland Water Inclosure is about ½ mile away, giving access to cycle routes and endless walking opportunities.
Booking in advance is crucial.
We require caravans/motorhomes/campervans to be members of the Camping & Caravanning Club.
No groups please.
Please contact us by email* or phone to enquire about bookings and current prices.
*we do our best to reply to all emails within 24 hours but if your enquiry is urgent, please ring
