A rural, peaceful, no fuss, campsite situated on the outskirts of the small village of Henstead in North Suffolk. Within 15 minutes you can visit the seaside town of Southwold or the beautiful market towns of Beccles and Halesworth.
We have 15 fully serviced hard standing pitches suitable for any vehicle or tent.
In addition we have 5 non-electric grass pitches suitable for tents, tent boxes and small campervans (VW size) only.
We have a well maintained shower and toilet block with separate male and female showers and a unisex disabled shower and toilet.
There is also a covered washing up area, wash out area for toilet waste, recycling and general waste bins.
Up to two dogs are allowed per pitch.
Who are we? Sarah and Callum! Mum and Dad to two daughters, Nellie and Clemmie. Although we offer peace, our two gorgeous little girls may make some noise when they`re helping us to look after the site on occasion!
Our relaxed family run campsite offers a quiet spot to pitch your tent or caravan with just the local owls, muntjacs and pheasants for company. On a clear night the stars are unbeatable (in our opinion)!
During your stay we will pop to the campsite most mornings to freshen up the toilets and then again in the evenings. If you do have any problems please pop over to say hello and ask for help, we will be more than happy to help if we can. We offer relaxed camping so there`s no need for a formal check-in.
You will know which pitch you are on prior to arrival and it will be displayed on a board at the toilet block so please pull up and set up at your leisure; between 12pm and 9pm.
Nearby Attractions
The nearest shop is Wrentham Stores which is a five minute drive away.
The closest pub is the Horse and Groom in Wrentham and there is also a breakfast cafe at Henstead Arts and Crafts serving traditional full English breakfasts and freshly made waffles. Both of these are also five minutes by car.
Southwold is a quaint town, renowned for its gorgeous sandy beach, pier and lighthouse, all within easy reach of Henstead Fields. The town boasts a range of boutique stores, family-run businesses and cafes, offering visitors the chance to experience the local charm and hospitality. With its unspoilt landscapes, the town is also ideal for long walks and cycling trips.
Make sure to visit the nearby Adnams brewery tour to discover the art of beer making and taste some of the finest ales in England.
Situated just a short drive away from Lowestoft Beach, our caravan and campsite is the ideal spot for those looking to enjoy a classic day at the seaside. The beach boasts a variety of arcades and family-friendly activities that will keep everyone entertained for hours.
Explore the charming town of Beccles and its historic landmarks to taking leisurely walks by the River Waveney, there`s something for everyone. You can also indulge in some retail therapy at the local boutiques and antique stores or enjoy a meal at one of the town`s many restaurants and cafes.

We are located a short drive from the A12. If you use a postcode to find us the postcode on google maps takes you to half way down the road. To reach us you will you need to continue along the road until you see our signage.
The best routes in from the A12:
The best routes will avoid Wood Lane, this is a very narrow road and is not suitable for bigger vehicles. The best routes in off of the A12 are:

B1127, Chapel Road
B1127, Guildhall Lane
The best routes from Beccles:
The best routes from Beccles will avoid Sotterley Road which joins in Hulver but will carry on to the crossroads in Henstead and take the B1127 instead up the hill towards Wrentham.
