La Fortinerie is delivered with a welcoming reception and a touch of comfort. Whether you choose to bring your caravan/motorhome, camp, stay in one of our Glamping units or opt for a stay in our farmhouse, our guests are welcome to enjoy the slower pace of life here with the added bonus of a few extra home comforts. New for 2018 will be a completely rennovated shower block with two fully equipped bathrooms, each with WC, shower and toilet. A fully equipped campers kitchen for use during your stay, including cooker, washing and drying facilities, wash up facilities etc
Pitches are available with or without EHU.
This is the place to sit, relax and unwind, away from the everyday stresses of life.

On site we have two glamping units and a farmhouse.
The safari tent. Our safari tent is 5m by 7m and will be equipped with a double bedroom with en-suite facilities, sitting room with kitchen area, electrical sockets and lighting, Wifi, outside sitting area and personal BBQ. This is available from June 2018
The Bell tent. Our Bell tent is 5m diameter and will be equipped with a double bed, sitting area, electrical sockets and lighting, wifi, outside sitting area and personal BBQ. This is available from June 2018
Farmhouse. Our farmhouse has all you need for a countryside escape. Sleeping a maximum of five people, there are two bedrooms, the master with a double bed and the second with two/three singles. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, in fact, all you would expect at home. There is a separate dining room and salon. Outside is a private garden with 4 meter above ground pool, BBQ and sun terrace.
Nearby Attractions
Many attractions can be found in the local area including two magnificent zoos, the national French school of horsemanship-the "Cadre Noire", vineyards from where one can sample the wines,chateaus in abundance, mushroom farms, troglodite caves, plenty local festivals in summer and not the least being the beautiful town of Saumur sitting on the banks of the Loire.
Take the D58 from Vernantes to Mouliherne. At the crossroads just 100 metres after the Chateau du Loroux, on the right, at Plaisance turn left. Follow this road past the garden centre tunnels to the next crossroads,turn right. La Fortinerie is the next set of buildings on your left. Or if you are coming from Mouliherne,drive directly through the main street, direction Longue and after maybe a KM. and after the big lake on your left, take the second left at the yellow painted house.
