Situated in the Lake District National Park in a privately owned woodland, near Grange Over-Sands, this idyllic location caters for caravans, motorhomes and tents.
Offering tranquil surroundings in a unique 7 acre woodland that has varying trees, plants and animal species, as well at three picturesque ponds.
For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life this is the perfect location for you, yet still within 12 mins from the M6 (J36), and 15 mins of popular locations such as Lake Windermere and the charming village of Cartmel.
Our family ran campsite with 10 pitches is available year round and each have power points as well as toilet and shower blocks. All our pitches are hardstanding, gravel, or woodland floor.
Unfortunately we no longer accept children under the age of 16.
Dog Paddock - Fenced in and free to use for your canine friend(s) allowing them to be off the lead safely.
We have onsite toilet and shower facilities.
Nearby Attractions
We are located near the charming villages of both Grange Over Sands and Cartmel. Both these villages offer a range of shops, food stores, cafes, and eating houses, as well as a friendly environment perfect for a stroll.
Cartmel is also the home to Cartmel Racecourse. Why not come and stay with us and have a fantastic day out at the races (post Covid).
We are around 15 minutes away from the beautiful lake Windermere. There are many locations here including, Bowness, Ambleside, and Fell Foot where you can rent a boat and enjoy the lake from a different viewpoint or enjoy one of the many attractions the lake has to offer, including a cruise on the steamers, a trip on the Steam train, or visit to the aquarium or Beatrix Potter museum, to name a few.
