This is a pop-up campsite, and it may only be open for limited periods within the opening dates shown.
** Pleas note, unfortunately we will remain closed during 2024. We hope to reopen in 2025 **
We are delighted to offer camping in one of our fields, Old Meadow, a tranquil area in the centre of our farm, overlooking acres of natural countryside and woodland.
Situated just 3 miles from the edge of the New Forest in the little village of Alderholt (between Ringwood and Fordingbridge), this is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday with unspoiled nature and birdsong in abundance.
There are many tracks and paths for rambling and exploring - the Sleep brook meanders through woodland and onto surrounding forested areas.
Old Meadow is a 10 acre field (5 football pitches) offering canvas and campervan pitches with well spaced grass areas in between making social distancing easy.
There are plenty of perimeter pitches to choose from and we can offer a secluded pitch for the ultimate peaceful break. Well behaved dogs are welcome (as are their owners).
Facilities include eight clean chemical toilets, two shower units and a cabin with washing-up facilities, a fridge, freezer and microwave
There are plenty of quality pubs, restaurants and takeaways in less than a 15-minute drive.
There is an abundance of wildlife including buzzards, deer, cows and many other animals that live on the farm to enjoy. On a clear night look up into the star filled sky and you may even see the International Space Station flying over.
Sorry but we cannot welcome caravans, motorhomes and do not have electric hook-ups. No large groups Stags or loud music.

The location offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful countryside retreat with tracks and paths right on site for family walks - yet a short drive from popular tourist destinations including the New Forest National Park, Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast.

Owner Directions
From the M27 take the A31 to Ringwood. At Ringwood take the B3081 towards Verwood. After a mile turn right (signposted `Alderholt`) and follow the road for three and a half miles, then turn left onto Ringwood Road. The Sleepbrook Farm track is located on the left hand side (after approximately half a mile) just after passing Alderholt Riding and Livery Stables on your left. If you`re using a SatNav to find the entrance gate, the best postcode is SP6 3DF
