Norden Farm is a family-run working farm located ¾ mile from the world-famous village of Corfe Castle, surrounded by glorious countryside and the Purbeck Hills. Young children can enjoy the many farm animals on view, along with a toddler play area for younger kids and a newly-built play area for older kids.
There are three adjacent level-grass fields with electric hook up, and an additional large grass field with non-electric pitches for tents and camper vans in peak season.
Norden Farm Campsite is also a family site which happily welcomes dogs, free of charge. We also have a fishing pond on-site free to use for our campers.
On-site facilities at Norden Farm Campsite include toilet and shower blocks, chemical disposal point, washbasins, a family wash room, disabled toilet and wet room, laundry and food washing-up rooms and a pooch parlour (wet room and shower for dogs). There is also a takeaway food hut on-site that offers breakfast and dinner options daily for our campers.
This year, we have added fridges and freezers for our campers to use, as well as charging lockers on-site to charge your phones and other small electronic devices.
We are happy to provide peak-season weekly entertainment. From 19 July 2023 to 30 August 2023, our campers can join us every Wednesday and Saturday evening for dinner, featuring a hog roast and bar, followed by live music by some of the best in Dorset!
Our farm shop on-site incorporates our Campsite reception and is exceptionally well stocked to meet campers needs, with a gas exchange service (Calor - butane and propane, and Gaz only). The Norden Farm Shop sells a wide range of food from groceries, local fresh produce, plus all camping goods and accessories alongside our mini garden centre and newly built garden barn. Generally through the camping season the shop is open everyday 8.30am - 6pm and during most of the high season we are open 8am - 8pm! The farm shop is open all year round, serving the local community with seasonal goods and a huge variety of other items.
Across the road from Norden Farm Campsite, just 5 minutes away, is a station for the Swanage Steam Railway, a lovely way to travel down to Swanage via Corfe Castle. Next to Norden Station is a hub for activities including cycle hire and electric bikes, follow the mainly off-road Cycle Route called the Rempston Ride to Studland. In this hub is the Purbeck Mining and Mineral Museum, a childrens playground with a railway theme and footpaths to Corfe Castle (¾ mile).
Hop on the award-winning bus routes on the Purbeck Breezer bus. There is a bus stop at the site entrance and you can explore the Isle of Purbeck with great views from the top deck.
Just a few minutes drive away is Dorset Adventure Park, the highest rated aqua park on the South Coast. With over 150m of floating, inflatable obstacles to tackle as well as trampolines, slackline, monkey bars and a mud trail, there`s plenty of activities to enjoy!
