ORCHARD CARAVAN PARK Our Park is situated near the beautiful village of Reeth and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Right at the eastern edge of the Dales, we offer a great location to start exploring this most wonderful area of Yorkshire.
There are plenty of walks to enjoy - short or long, easy or hard and we are on the official Coast to Coast Path, as well as the Herriott Way and the Inn Way (a circular 76 mile walk taking in 26 traditional Dales inns along the way!). Wildlife and wild flowers are in abundance, and the stone walls and barns that Swaledale is renowned for can be seen in every direction.
Our dog friendly Park is a very short walk from village where there are pubs all serving food, local beers and wine and the Burgoyne Hotel is also open to non residents for food and drinks. The Post Office and small convenience Store are close by. Reeth also has a Tourist Information office, gift shop and a tea room. On Friday evenings Ramsey`s mobile fish & chip van arrives (times displayed at the Park). We don`t have a play park here but there is a public park nearby.
A local bus service runs through the village daily and visits Richmond and Catterick Garrison where larger supermarkets and a retail park can be found. The very scenic Northern Dalesman bus runs on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays during the summer months.
We have a wifi hotspot and it is available for free in the pubs. Mobiles connected to EE, O2 and 3 will connect in Reeth.
