Description
Pitches: 100 + 10 Static Caravans
Opening Dates next year: 29/03/2025 to 31/10/2025
A lovely and spacious tranquil site, along a quiet country lane, offering excellent touring and camping facilities (Caravans, Motorhomes and tents) and 38 Seasonal Pitches on an annual licence basis.
Situated a 5-10 mins drive or a 45 minute walk along the coastal path to the wonderful Regency Town of Sidmouth and offers a great base to explore the East Devon area and the Jurassic Coastline.
The Park does not have a bar, clubhouse or swimming pool but offers lots of open space, generous pitches and peace and quiet in a beautiful countryside setting.
We have excellent on site security with height restriction barriers, ANPR barrier system and CCTV to ensure a relaxing a peaceful stay with us.
We have 100 pitches on 16 acres and are located away from the busy and noisy A3052.
The Park has mostly hard-standing pitches, each with electric hook up and water tap. Some in the main field have grey water soakaways and gravel awning bases. Pitches form the perimeter and you will have wonderful views across the park and surrounding farmland.
Our new shower block comprises of one family shower room (with Part M disabled access), 2 private shower washrooms, 4 private WC rooms (WC & Sink) and two dishwashing sinks. This block is unisex but separate male/female services are still available in our main utilities block.
Our new reception facility is now open and operational. You can now pull up adjacent the reception entrance (where we have two customer wcs) for easy checking in. Your holiday starts from the moment you arrive.
Children have a safe environment to play in.
We are a dog friendly Park with a dedicated dog walking area.
There are some views of the sea from one area of the Park and for the energetic, a 25 minute walk and 145 steps will take you down to the gorgeous shingle beach at Salcombe Mouth where you can take dogs all year round.
A 10/15 minute level walk will take you to the infamous Donkey Sanctuary and there are direct links to the Jurassic Coastline path.
Sidmouth, a beautiful coastal town nestled in the heart of Devon, is a must-visit for history buffs, nature lovers, and seaside enthusiasts. Its Regency architecture and timeless charm make it an ideal location for visitors of all ages. Sitting amidst spectacular countryside, this town offers a unique blend of rural tranquility and seaside fun.
One of the towns main attractions is its beach, renowned for being a perfect spot for sun catching, rockpooling, swimming, and playing. Advice: Do not follow your Sat Nav! It will take you to the Church with nowhere to turn.
We are situated half a mile off the busy A3052, just east of Sidford/Sidmouth.
From EXETER direction continue on through SIDFORD (not going into SIDMOUTH)on the A3052 up the steep hill to the top (don`t take the first turning!)turning right where signposted to Salcombe Regis (brown tourist sign), proceed for one third of a mile an we can be found on left just past Golf Range.
From the East travelling on the A3052, turn left just past the Donkey Sanctuary and again proceed for one third of a mile an we can be found on left just past Golf Range. Grid REF.SY 153892
