Welcome to Commonwood Leisure based in Wrexham North Wales. A great place to just sit back and enjoy the countryside! Winners of Go North Wales Campsite of the Year. Based in 60 acres of Welsh Countryside.
Attention all nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts! Get ready for an unforgettable camping experience in North Wales, Our site offers lovely scenery, plenty of dog walking space, peaceful, With spacious and well-maintained pitches you`ll have all the comforts of home while feeling one with nature.
We have EHU and non EHU for Caravans and Campervans. We have 6 super lakeside pitches with water, waste, EHU, stay in your caravan surrounding Madoc Lake, our swimming/paddle board lake, ideal for the family camping weekend.
We also have 5 large pitches hard standing with electric hook ups along the canal better for the angler.
We have non electric hardstanding pitches with Madoc Lake view. Campervans welcome.
We do not accept own tents.
We also have pod cabins and safari tents.

A family lake for swimming, kayaking and boarding. Whether you want to hike, swim, fish, or simply relax by the campfire, we have everything you need for a perfect getaway.
There is a licenced bar with live music at weekends throughout the summer, indoor seating and under our stretch tent. Cafe on site to eat in or take away and a small children`s playground. The nearest restaurant/pub is a 1/4 of a mile away. Please note through the winter months the cafe bar is only open Friday/Saturday/Sundays and there is no live music on during the winter.
We are also a brilliant base for exploring the local area. Commonwood is a short drive to National Heritage Sites, Historic towns, 45 minutes from a major cities Liverpool/Manchester, 50 minutes from Snowdonia, 5 minutes drive to Wrexham city centre

We also have a truly unique experience. The Arcadia Safari tent in its own 5-acre field, comes with its own private lake to fish, swim, canoe. Also included is a small natural plunge pool, large Argentinian bbq, fire pit, extra-large table, seating areas, hammock. This is ideal for group bookings as you are hiring the field and have the whole place to your selves. sleeps 10 but booking extra people is allowed but must speak to staff. Please note, this is not open through the winter months.
Commonwood Fishery has a range of lakes suitable for all types of anglers, we have a catfish lake and specimen carp lakes. Children are welcome to come and have a go at fishing in our children`s pools located by the cafe. you must bring your own equipment.
