Looking to get away from it all, to relax in a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil environment in an unspoilt part of France? Then Camping Le Cormier, on the outskirts of the small village of Obterre, could be for you.
NORMALLY OPEN ALL YEAR. The campsite has large grassy level pitches / emplacements (ave 180 sq metres) with plenty of open space for caravans, tents or motor-homes having 8 amp (minimum) electricity hook-ups and water taps nearby. Most pitches are surrounded by trees & bushes providing shade for those warm sunny days.
The camping area is situated in a separate meadow of approx 4 acres bordered by trees within the 10 acre site, set in beautiful rolling countryside in rural France - a natural haven for various species of birds and wildlife, in the Loire Valley (south of the river) on the northern tip of the Brenne Parc Naturel Regional. Having all the ingredients to allow you to switch-off, relax and unwind in what has been described as a little bit of paradise....

We have a new Toilet & Shower Block with separate male & female facilities plus disabled wet room in each. Laundry & tumble drier (for a small fee) with fridge and freezer facilities often available too. Pets are welcome with designated dog walking zones. We can recommend a local vet and book an appointment for you if needed for travel requirements before returning home.
Local Boulangerie van usually visits 6 mornings of the week during the summer season & twice a week during the Low & Mid Season.
Above ground splash pool available for all visitors, usually open May to the end of September.
Free Wi-Fi facility normally available throughout the campsite and grounds.
All pitches have FREE connection facilities to an Astra 2 linked satellite dish. Due to size of the pitches, a good length of satellite cable is required (say min 15m) with screw type `F-connection`.
CARAVAN STORAGE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.
Ideally positioned to have a break and stop-over on the way to Southern France, Spain or Portugal.
