Shepherds Views is a small family run caravan and camping site, it is set in 210 acres of farmland.
We are a family run farm, based in West Cumbria, a stone throw from both the beach and some of the finest countryside in the UK, the Lake District.
Our farm and campsite is set in 210 acres of farmland with stunning views.
We are ideally situated as a base for access to England's Highest mountain, Scawfell Pike which stands at 3,209ft.
If your looking for water sports then we are only a few minutes to a fantastic beach which is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and sailing.
We offer a wide range of 1st class accommodation and pitches including 3 holiday cottages, 2 camping pods and beautifully maintained, fully serviced pitches.
We also have a great camping area. Our camping and touring guests can enjoy a nice warm shower in our fully heated showing and wash facility.
There is an immaculate family/unisex amenity block with underfloor heating, showers, washbasins and toilets.
There is also an electric hair dryer and shaving point. We make no extra charge for the showers and the showerblock facilities.
There is also a large grassed area for all kinds of ball games.

Nearby Attractions
Just a 5 minute walk from Shepherds Views will find you on a beautiful sandy beach.The Victoria Hotel, is within a mile, serving excellent food & real ales.
Also in & around the local area are other places to enjoy an evening of good food & drink. There is a traditional craft shop containing a coffee shop.Whitehaven is to the North,& has a fishing harbour and marina.
Also The Rum Story & its story of Rum Smugglers.Just a little bit further is Maryport, with its aquarium, coffee shop & gift shop.
To the south is the small fishing village of Ravenglass, home to the famous Ratty Railway, finishing at Dalegarth at Eskdale. Further on is Muncaster Castle, home to the World Owl Centre.
There are many cycle routes for all levels of cyclists, as we are situated near to the start of Hadrian's cycleway. We are also a 15 minute drive from Scafell Pike.
