Bwlchgwyn is situated on a working beef and sheep farm about half a mile from Aberdaron village and the beach.
The site is on a level field with exceptional views across the Llŷn Peninsula and beyond.
The site facilities consist of a new modern, immaculate toilet and shower block with an outside sheltered dishwashing area.
The site consists of grass pitches with electric hookups and water tap.
There are also hardstanding fully serviced super pitches.

From the campsite there are spectacular views of Anelog Mountain, Aberdaron and the Lleyn Peninsula.
A path leading directly from the site takes you to the top of Anelog Mountain {15 minute walk}, and gives you breathtaking views of Ireland and SouthStack on Anglesey and the whole of the peninsula.
Within walking distance of the site there are 2 pubs, cafes, restaurants, fish and chips shop, grocery store and bakery.
If you enjoy the beach a five minute walk takes you to the coastal path from where you can go directly on to the beach, or if you prefer you could walk the coast for miles around the peninsula.
Without doubt this is a wonderful location for a relaxing family holiday.
Nearby Attractions
A leisurely stroll of less than 1 mile (10-15 minutes walk) takes you to the old white-washed village of Aberdaron, with its sheltered, mainly sandy beach.
Amenities at the village include a grocery store, newsagents, bakery, post office, 2 cafes and 2 popular pubs/restaurants offering lunchtime and evening meals.
Join the coastal path from the site and enjoy the breathtaking beautyup Mynydd Anelog a from where the Holly Isle of Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) can be seen in its entirety (ideal location for a picnic). Not far is Porth Meudwy (hermits cove) - a little fishermans cove, where a four mile trip by boat will take you to Ynys Enlli.
Situated within easy reach are the market town of Pwllheli, and the hustle and bustle of Abersoch village with its many fashion stores and cafes.

Owner Directions
Directions from Pwllheli • Follow A499 to Llanbedrog. • In Llanbedrog turn right onto the B4413 signposted Aberdaron. The journey to Aberdaron will take you approximately 20 minutes from here. • As you enter the village of Aberdaron take the right turning immediately after passing the SPAR shop. • Take this road for approximately ½ mile. • Turn left at the turning signposted Uwchmynydd. • We are the first property on the right hand side on this road.
