Swallow Beck CL is a Classic Eco-Friendly CL in what our friends call `The Shire`.
It is a `Special Protection Zone` for birds and due to stringent council rules we are only allowed to be open 6 months of the year with 2 adults on each pitch.

Heritage Connemara Pony Stud of 53 years - est. 1971
We are all very privileged to be able to see these beautiful ponies from the West Coast of Ireland that are coveted across the world, in such close proximity. Please admire the ponies from a distance but do not TOUCH the ponies.

Stud Season
Be aware of occasional vet visits in May, June, and July while ponies are being bred and mares are giving birth. This may involve some activity on the site. The site has remote viewing HD CCTV cameras so not matter what, we can check the safety of our site.
Ground conditions
The campsite has a flat, level ground surface. However, a layer of gravel lies about 4 inches below the surface. We recommended the use of drill-in pegs. This might be helpful to know when packing camping equipment.
Goodwood airfield, motor circuit and house are literally a stones throw away with loads of fabulous places to visit close by. Petworth House, Tangmere Aviation Museum, Fishbourne Palace, Chichester Harbour, Portsmouth Dockyard, Eastney Museums, Horse Racing, you name it we`ve got it.
