Kelynack is small and secluded, nestling alongside a stream, just a mile from the coast in the beautiful Cot Valley, in Far West Cornwall.
We are a small family run site and we always aim to offer a friendly Cornish welcome to all.
There are 40 level pitches with electric hook up and a further 8 non-hook up pitches for the summer months.
Visitors can park their cars next to their caravans or tents. Additional vehicles may need to park in our car park during peak times.
We provide a chemical disposal point.
On site we have a small shop which caters for all of your camping needs, including groceries, fresh milk, camping gas etc.
Our well appointed shower facilities include separate shower cubicles, toilets, wash basins, and hair and hand dryers. We also have separate disabled WC facilities.
The laundry room has automatic washing machines, tumble and spin dryer, and ironing facilities.
In wet weather, campers can cook under the cover of our gazebo.
We have 3 self catering rooms , all rooms are finished to a very high standard,twin beds or comfy king size, all rooms are ensuite.
Treat yourself to a Cornish Cream Tea using homemade and local produce.
Children enjoy playing in our play area and exploring our woodland area. They can also play table tennis in our undercover area.
We have some friendly animals including our donkeys: Carmen, Scrumpi, Ned, Bracken and our Shetland pony Pedro. Carmen has had a foal, who we named Merlin. The name was chosen by a little boy staying on the site, who thought the new addition was magic.
At the end of our road there is a bus stop where you can hop on a bus to St Just or Lands End. Or take the open top double decker bus and explore the beautiful coastal road to St Ives.
Nearby Attractions
Kelynack is just under one mile out of the village of St.Just and takes about 15 minutes to walk there.
The beautiful sandy beach at Sennen is only 5 minutes drive away. Our site is an excellent base if you like walking holidays as we are so close to the coastal path.
Land's End is only approx 4 miles away.
If you enjoy history why not visit Geevor Tin Mine or if you like looking at ancient monuments and stones,there are a number within a short distance. StIves is only approx 15 miles away.
There is so many things to see and do in and around the Land's End peninsula, especially if you are a Poldark fan. Kelynack is an excellent base to use.
There is so much to see and do or you can just relax and enjoy the beauty and enchancement of Cornwall.
To reach Kelynack you take the main road from Penzance to St.Just. After approx 6 miles there is a turning on the left onto the B3306 towards Land's End. Take this road and follow it for just under one mile, when you reach the bottom of the hill you will see our sign showing you to turn left. Follow the road for approx. 500 meters and turn left into our entrance.
