This is a peaceful caravan and camping site set in 30 acres of land at the edge of Beddgelert in Snowdonia, North Wales.
Our friendly site is perfectly positioned to enjoy the highlights of the stunning Snowdonia National Park. The scenery at Cae Du is inspiring and a perfect way to enjoy a break in the beautiful surroundings.
Cae Du Campsite is set on the banks of the River Glaslyn at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.
This is a quiet campsite where you can enjoy a peaceful camping holiday in the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia in North Wales.
Here at Cae Du, Beddgelert, we can accommodate touring caravans, motorhomes, camper vans, folding campers, tents, trailer tents and RVs.
Our spacious pitches are situated to take in the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia National Park
We have grass pitches which accommodate all units with the choice of electric or non-electric.
The team at Cae Du are busy working on hard standing pitches.
We have clean facilities including toilets, hot showers, dishwashing, laundry room.
Dogs are allowed on a lead, and a dog walking area is provided.
There are fishing rights on the river passing through the site
Cae Du is a walkers paradise with glorious and abundant trails both from the site itself and just a short drive away. These spectacular hikes range in difficulty to suit all kinds of people. Set off from Cae Du and you can reach the famous `Giants Chair`, the legendary trail of Dinas Emrys or even conquer Moel Hebog, which dominates the backdrop of Beddgelert. Just a 5 minute drive will take you to the foot of Y Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in England and Wales!

Set a few minutes walk from Beddgelert with its shops and places to eat, this is an ideal campsite for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales.
There are plenty of walks from the campsite including the peaks of Snowdon, Moel Hebog and Cnicht, or more leisurely valley walks.
There are many attractions within easy reach of the campsite including castles at Caernarfon and Criccieth, Portmeirion, and the steam railways of the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, and Ffestiniog Railway.
