Description
Pitches: 13 touring vans + Tents
Opening Dates next year: 23/05/2025 to 05/09/2025
A small campsite set within its own 12 acres of natural woodland, on the northern outskirts of Angmering village in the hamlet of Hammerpot. Located at the foot of the South Downs National Park and an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Minimum stay - 2 nights.
16 amp electric hook-ups (12 available); some pitches without electric also available. Gas BBQs only - thank you. One dog per unit, on a lead whilst on site please.
We do limit the number of youngsters on site, as the emphasis of ACORNS is on peaceful enjoyment of the countryside! PLEASE NOTE - day visitors to site by prior arrangement only.
Our shower/toilet block with separate disabled facilities and washing up area, is centrally heated and provides free hot water.
TV/satellite reception possible but varies due to surrounding woodland.
Site is gently sloping, so levelling blocks are recommended for larger caravans and motor homes.
Pitches from £28.00 per night; E-mail site for full tariff and conditions. Maximum unit size (shipping length for caravans & motorhomes) 7.0 m x 5.0 m overall including awning etc.
Arrivals from 2 pm onwards; departures by 12 noon on final day.
Local shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Local bus route (Stagecoach service 9) within 5 minutes of site entrance. Easy access to all local major routes.
PLEASE NOTE - building works have now commenced on the opposite side of the road outside ACORNS. Accordingly, some construction noise may be apparent during working hours Monday to Friday, for the foreseeable future.
Nearby Attractions
Immediately south of the South Downs National Park, Arundel with its famous castle & nearby Wildfowl Trust; seaside resorts of Worthing, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton (with sand dunes at Climping); Glorious Goodwood; racing at Fontwell; cathedral city of Chichester and cosmopolitan city of Brighton & Hove.

Owner Directions
WE ADVISE APPROACHING FROM THE A27 Worthing to Arundel (there is no access from A27 eastbound carriageway); turn left at Hammerpot garage, into B2225 Arundel Road, sign posted Angmering (do not turn off at Patching Interchange which is the preceding exit); ACORNS site is on the left, 200 yds from the junction. If approaching from Angmering village, go north up Arundel Rd, past St Margaret`s Primary school on right (AVOID SCHOOL TIMES!), travel up hill into wooded area & national speed limit. Site entrance is on right at top of hill, opposite Starling View. Turn before you reach A27!
