Description
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents.
Pitches: 5 plus tents
Opening Dates this year: 01/03/2024 to 30/11/2024
Opening Dates next year: 01/03/2025 to 30/11/2025
We are a small friendly peaceful site away from traffic, the perfect hide away to relax and unwind. We are between the coast and Yorkshire moors, with lovely views over the Yorkshire Wolds.
The Pheasantry is a small hide-away-campsite, with space for 5 caravans and 5 tents, fully equipped with electric hook ups, chemical waste point and shower and toilet facilities.We also have nearly wild camping area with wild flowers mature trees suitable for a hamock, for tents and small camper vans.Fire pit area under canopy, come and enjoy.
We also have a fully equipped cosy Shepherds hut featuring a log burner and an outdoor bbq.
We are dog friendly with many walks on our door step and near to both Dalby and Wykham forest for longer walks or mountain biking
We have some lovely walks on our door step, and also near to Dalby Forest, Wykham Forest, and Troutsdale, great for walking or biking.
We have six electric hookups for caravans or tents, and are a level site.
On our small holding we have horses, dogs and chickens chidren can help feed and collect the eggs
Just on the edge of Snainton Village, in which there are two Pubs, The Coachman and The Peacock, there is also a fish and Chip shop.

Glamping: Located in the secluded paddock with its own BBQ area and amazing views, our Shephards Hut provides a perfect, peaceful and tranquil setting for a break away from the hustle and bustle.
We offer a minimum of 2 night stay, to include full English breakfast each morning which can be served in the Hut or in the main house.
The Hut is lit in the evening with Camping lights and pretty solar lights adorn the exterior.
Just a short walk from the Hut are the camp site facilities, including, toilets and showers, a drying room and a lounge area.

When you come into Snainton Village turn up the road at the side of the Peacock Pub and keep up the road for about a mile, we are on the right, turn down our long drive and the site is half way down.
