Sarah took on the role as solo warden in 2020 and then Covid hit us. She is very keen that every one has a relaxing and enjoyable stay here. Walkers, cyclists, families and dogs are all welcome and greeted by friendly and helpful staff to the caravan park. A perfect location for touring or relaxing with a fantastic new children`s play park opened in 2018 and a separate dog exercise field opposite the site.
The Market Rasen Racecourse Camping & Touring Site is set on the edge of the distinctive landscape of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The site is adjacent to the racecourse which is an exciting buzz of activity on a race day and peaceful and relaxing in between races. Being so close to the Lindsey Trail touring by bike or walking is simple with access off Legsby Road. Barrier Entrance & Discounted Horse Racing. Free WIFI on most pitches. Excellent dog walking opposite the site & surrounding area and NEW free, separate children`s play area next to the site. *Our Reception, stocked with local tourist information & maps, is open daily. * Walkers and cyclists have an abundance of sites & trails directly from the Park- the Viking Way is just 2 miles from the site and will inspire with its beautiful natural landscapes. * Dogs walkers are spoilt by a large dog friendly field and woodland walks. There are also a number of dog friendly pubs in the town. * Our Park offers many flat pitches but some are on a slight slope. Levellers are recommended but we do have a few to lend out and we are happy to help. * Our Amenity Block set within the original part of the Racecourse facility is warm and regularly cleaned. ** We also have for sale Blyton Ice-cream at a very reasonable price Excellent TV reception on site. No membership required.
Within a 15-20 min walk to the town there is access to bus & train links to Lincoln and surrounding areas. There is a TESCO Superstore, local high street shops & many pet friendly pubs. There is also a market a couple of times a week, selling local fruit and veg etc

Access via the M1, A1 and A46, the racecourse is well signposted on the east side of Market Rasen alongside the A631.
From the A1 please take the exit sign posted to Newark, Lincoln A46 and Newark North Gate Train Station. Then follow the A46 all the way to Market Rasen. Sign posted also RACECOURSE.
From the M1 please exit at junction 24 and follow the A453 into Nottingham following A52 then onto the A46 to Newark.
From the M18 (North of Market Rasen) please exit onto the M180 sign posted to Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Humberside Airport. Then take the exit onto the A15 sign posted to Lincoln. Then take an exit onto the A631 sign posted to Market Rasen. Follow signs for RACECOURSE & M`RASEN (abbreviated)
