Award winning Pitch & Canvas is a hidden gem in the heart of the Cheshire countryside with stunning views of the Sandstone Ridge as its backdrop.
The site is laid out to provide plenty of space for children to explore and enables everyone to have some quality time to relax and unwind. Time is precious and we give you the time to make lifelong holiday memories.
Although based in the quiet countryside there are an abundance of things to do close by. Tourist attractions such as The Ice Cream Farm, Cheshire Candle Workshops, and Sandstone Ridge, are on the doorstep with the historic city of Chester, Delmer Forest, and fabulous Bewilderwood Cheshire just a short drive away plus much more. A 20-minute stroll will take you into the heart of Tattenhall village where shops, pubs, and local eateries can be found with an abundance of variety. At the end of the week you will wish you had longer.
Throughout the year events such as Gin Tasting afternoons, Cookery Courses, BBQs an more take place on site, as well during the summer holidays paddle boarding and archery. Chck out our events page on the website for further information.
In Reception guests will find a variety of free activities to enjoy, take part in our colouring competition or perhaps join us for a ramble on the hill or a gentle road run in the local area. Our small on-site shop sells a variety of essentials and at peak times local bacon, sausage and basics including our own eggs from our beautiful hens that roam freely around the farm. New for 2022 is ‘The Shower Shack providing further showers and toilets to the main toilet block on site which is also home to te washing up area with an abundance of hot water.
Throughout the season we are lucky to have the amazing Apricot Blue visit site, usually on a Friday, serving their yummy gourmet burgers, quesadillas, dirty dogs and more!

Apart from onsite activities there is plenty to do during your stay, in fact enough to fill everyday of a 2 week holiday.
The Ice Cream Farm voted UKs top free tourist attraction is located just down the lane, as well as the Cheshire Candle Factory where you can have a go at making your own candles as well as explore the array of candles in the gift shop.
Bewilderwood Cheshire has recently opened and has mesmerised the majority of our family guests when visited. It truly is magical.
Chester Zoo is only a 20 minute drive away as well as the historic City of Chester which is home to the famous 'Rows' and an array of quirky and different shops.
Liverpool is only 35 minutes away with great transport links or even Manchester which is only 45 minutes - both large cities offer an abundance of culture and a shoppers heaven.
From Tattenhall centre leave the village heading towards Burwardsley with The Sportsmans Arms pub on your right. After approximately 3/4s of a mile turn left onto Birds Lane and we located just down the lane on the left - the Pitch & Canvas entrance sign can easily be seen from the road.
