Cwmcarn Forest offers something for all the family. The visitor centre provides a place to stock up on refreshments and gifts as well as finding out about what you can do in the area.
Sample our wide range of meals and snacks available at Ravens Cafe - with seating for 56 within the bright and airy interior or choose to eat outside on the impressive Decking area, which overlooks the Nantcarn Stream.
Nestling alongside the banks of the Nantcarn stream is the Visit Wales Four Star graded Cwmcarn Forest Campsite. A well-equipped caravan and camping park at the foot of the spectacular forest drive.
For 2015 we have increased the number of camping ‘Pods, which could be described as a "wooden tent", on site. There are now three Standard pods (2 adults & 1 child) and seven Family pods available which provide spacious accommodation for up to four people. All have their own picnic table and BBQ facilities.
Accommodation is available for up to 16 caravans (6 hard standings) or tents with an additional 7 all weather tent pitches (installed 2010) all with electric hook up. Modern shower and toilet facilities (upgraded 2010), kitchen (upgraded 2011), laundry room, DDA compliant wet room (new 2011) & chemical waste disposal.
Enjoy a midweek break in one of our Glamping Pods, stay for four nights but only pay for three, get the forth night free.

The site is well signposted from M4 and heads of the valleys road, please follow Brown tourism signs for Cwmcarn Forest Drive / Scenic Drive and these will lead you directly to the site. please ignore satelite navigation as you approach the site as these will lead you into a local housing estate, follow the Brown signs and our site signage for the visitor centre.
