Gatton Waters has been run by the Donaldson family for over 30 years and is situated on a 24 Acre site in the beautiful West Norfolk countryside.
Just 5 minutes from the Sandringham Estate and a short drive from the North Norfolk Coast, Gatton Waters boasts a well stocked 8-acre coarse fishing lake and is surrounded by beautiful woodlands, footpaths and wildlife.
Day and seasonal fishing tickets are available for tourers and seasonal guests.
We relaunched in 2023, following a refurbishment of our facilities, and will continue Gatton Waters as a quiet, adult only (18+) and dog friendly site, catering for those seeking peace and relaxation.
Touring and seasonal pitches are currently available (we do not accommodate camping), all served by electric hook ups.
Over the winter we have added site wide WiFi coverage, meaning free WiFi access to all our guests at pitch side. Additionally, we have secured a bar license and will reopen the bar in 2024, at first to cover bank holidays and busy periods. In any event, alcohol will be available for sale on site to our guests.
Nearby Attractions
Gatton Waters is only a 5 minutes drive from the Royal Estate of Sandringham, the country home to generations of British Monarchs since 1862.There are nearly 250 hectares of trails, cycle paths and dog walks, and the fine House and its Gardens can be visited in season.
North Norfolk`s unspoiled beaches are less than 30 minutes away. With huge skies and expansive sands, Holkham, Brancaster, Hunstanton, Holme and many others are recognised as some of the finest beaches in the UK. Most are dog friendly.
There are an array of great local pubs serving excellent locally sourced food and ales, including the Rose and Crown at Snettisham, the Crown at East Rudham and the Lifeboat at Thornham, to name a few.
Gatton Waters is less than a mile from the nearest village of Hillington, which has a petrol station, cash machine and a well stocked store, all open 24 hours day

Owner Directions
Driving East along the A148 Cromer Road from the Knights` Hill roundabout, continue for about 4 miles until you have passed the sign posted turn to West Newton on the left. After another 100 yards or so along the main road you will see Caravan Park signs directing you to turn left to the site. Having turned left on to the feeder road, you quickly come to a country lane again on the left, where after another 200 yards you will be led off to the right through the gate. This will take you to the reception, where there is adequate space to park. If after driving on the A148 you reach the B1440 turn to Sandringham Road or the village of Hillington, you`ve gone too far.
