Camping and Caravanning in Snowdonia
Stay in one of the most breathtaking parts of Wales
Camping and caravanning are offered on a large, sheltered, level field adjacent to the main buildings. The field is surrounded by farmland and woodland on all sides and offers peace and tranquility. Campfires allowed. Bring your own fire pit or hire one from reception. Large bags of wood sold on site.
There are many walks surrounding Dolgun Uchaf, one of the most famous is the Torrent walk which is only 500 meters away from the site. Recently the area has become a Mecca for Mountain Biking and we are happy to offer secure storage for bicycles.
Toilet block with facilities for disabled etc, washing machines drying facilities and fridge.
There are electric hook up points, power washers for cleaning bikes and equipment. The town of Dolgellau is only one and a half miles away and has a range of shops. There is also a shop and starbucks within a pleasant 5 minute walk
Rates are £22 per pitch (including two people) for non electrical pitch. £11 for an extra adult or £6 for extra Children under 12. £3 For Dogs. Electric is £8 extra per pitch per night. Our Shower facilities are included in the price. Fire pits available to hire.
Nearby Attractions
We are ideally situated to explore all the Park has to offer, with the Torrent Walk being only a short distance away by foot.
A little further and you can enjoy many activities such as Hill Walking, Pony Trekking, Golfing, Fishing, Mountain Biking at the World famous Coed-y-Brenin or Dyfi Bike Park or the striking Mawddach Trail. Also World famous Zip world and underground trampoline.
Maybe you'd prefer a more relaxing day of sight seeing and visiting local attractions such as the Talyllyn Railway or Snowdonia Castles, there are many of them Dotted around Snowdonia National Park. Mighty Medieval Castles and revealing industrial remains.
