Description

A small and peaceful park, with wonderful views across Ullswater and is well sheltered by trees and the Cumbrian fells.
The touring pitches are elevated on hardstanding and offer the best positions with superb views and each pitch has hook-up, plenty of grass for awnings and space to park your car close to your caravan. The camping park offers sheltered grassy pitches and are all conveniently situated very close to the amenities block.
The park is very clean and well maintained, with a heated amenities block. Hot showers, hand and hair dryers, baby changing facilities, plus much more!
Cove is a small quiet park, offering a superb location for walkers, climbers and everyone who wishes to enjoy all of the activities that the Lake District has to offer; or just to come and rest and relax in the peaceful surroundings while enjoying the wildlife all around.
The Children's play area offers the youngsters a safe environment to let off steam and dogs are most welcome.
We have our own wild flower meadow dedicated for dog walking, with mown paths for easy access.
Nearby Attractions
There are many local attartcations in the Lakes including the Ullswater Steamers, the delightful Pooly Bridge, Windermere is only 20 minutes away by car and offers a wealth of watersports, aqaurium plus more. Hadrians Wall is 20 minutes by car. There are hundreds of other family activities also in the area. Take in somebreathtaking scenery includng Scafell Pike, Pavey Ark and the Eskdale Valley.

Owner Directions
From Junction 40 take the A66 towards Keswick. At the first roundabout (Rheged Visitor Centre) take the A592 towards Ullswater. Follow this road right down to the lake, where you will come to a T junction. Take a right turn, you will still be on the A592.
Follow the lake for 1.5 miles, until you come to the Brackenrigg Hotel on your right hand side. Go right up here and follow the road for 2 miles (up a hill, quite narrow and windy).
You will find Cove Park on your left.
