Highfield Farm is a small family run caravan park with 120 pitches of which 105 are seasonal pitches, 8 for private static holiday homes, leaving the remaining pitches for touring caravans.

The parks main attraction is its scenic and very tranquil situation very close to the Yorkshire Dales with impressive views of the North Yorkshire Moors and the Cleveland Hills. We have a coarse fishing pond and a small play area suitable for children under 10 years of age. Well behaved dogs are welcome and a dog walking field is available.

Highfield Farm offers fully tiled shower blocks with free use of hot showers. All pitches have electric hook up.

Highfield Farm is the perfect location for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Nearby are the market towns of Richmond, Leyburn, Bedale & Northallerton together with the very popular Saturday morning Bedale Car Boot sale and the Sunday market at Scorton. There are supermarkets within five minutes drive for essential supplies.

Local swimming pools and cinemas are within easy travelling distance as is The Wensleydale Railway - enjoy a leisurely train journey through beautiful countryside and the Forbidden Corner at Middleham.

There are many award winning restaurants and pubs in the area which we can recommend.

Owner Directions

To find us when travelling from the south on the A1 take the first Catterick exit sign posted Catterick, Richmond. Follow the signs for Tunstall and drive through Tunstall village passing the pub on the left hand side. At the end of the village follow the road left up the hill. (Do not take the first left at the immediate top of the hill). Carry on until you see our Highfield Farm sign on the left hand side after approximately 500 yards.
When travelling from the north on the A1, take the 1st Catterick exit after Scotch Corner and enter Catterick Village. Take the right hand turn sign posted Tunstall and follow the above instructions.
